“Computing is moving
onto mobile.” Larry
Page, Google’s chief executive –
August 15, 2011
Of course, it's
time to go mobile!
There are almost six times more
mobile devices than computers and
consumers are relying more and more
on what they can access on the
Internet through their mobile
devices. Your website may already
be accessible via a mobile device,
but is it readable,
user-friendly?
Unless you’ve hired a developer
to specifically design your site
for mobile access in the past year,
then probably not. Mobile browser
technology has evolved dramatically
over the past two years, allowing
users to access websites over their
different mobile devices (Android,
IPhone, Blackberry, Palm). If your
website is not accessible and
user-friendly on mobile devices
then users will simply become
frustrated and click to a site that
is (may be your competition).
Before 2011 it was “cool” and
“neat” to have a business website
that’s mobile, now it's critical
for business.
It’s a huge mistake to think
“mobile” means cell phones. Since
2010 consumers are purchasing
tablets, e-readers, portable media
devices and other mobile products
at a staggering rate. Website, apps
and services will need to be
compliant across the different
devices and consumers will want
ubiquitous access to content and
services. If your website is
not optimized for mobile, its time
to give your cutomers what they're
demanding. Let us help you
today!
